There are 3 things that everyone is talking about right now. Jacob Elordi, Barry Keoghan, and the bathtub scene. The world and its dog have become fixated with Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn and for good reason. After a brief release to the cinema, the uncomfortable masterpiece dropped on Prime Video and quickly became the most talked about film for a while.
If you haven’t seen it… a word to the wise, don’t watch the film with any older relatives. If you have seen it and it left you wanting more, here are all of our recommendations for the best films that have the same 'can't look away' effect as Saltburn.
The Riot Club
There’s something very gripping about watching posh people behave badly and The Riot Club is exactly that. Similarly to Saltburn, this film is set at Oxford University and centers around an exclusive members society (inspired by the real-life Burlington Club.) The film takes a dark turn when exercising their privilege is taken too far at a group dinner.

Watch on: Prime Video
Triangle of Sadness
If you think this film will go one way, Triangle of Sadness will go the other. It tells the story of an influencer couple Carl and Yaya who go on a luxury cruise which ends in complete disaster.
It’s a modern-day Lord of the Flies and if you loved Saltburn you will love Triangle of Sadness.
Run Time: 147 minutes
Watch on: Prime Video
Promising Young Woman
Saltburn has a sister and she’s called Promising Young Woman, another masterpiece directed by Emerald Fennell. In the film we see Carey Mulligan take on the role of Cassie, who sets out trying to avenge her best friend Nina, who committed suicide after being raped by their classmate.

The Menu
If you are looking for a film that makes you uncomfortable, The Menu should be on your list. Starring Ralph Fiennes, Nicholas Hoult, and Anya Taylor-Joy the film tells the story of a young couple who travel to a very remote island to experience the food of a world-famous chef.
The problem with remote islands is, it’s easy to get stuck and when they arrive it becomes clear that the menu isn’t the only thing they’ll be experiencing.
