I don’t know about you but with each year that goes by it feels like Christmas comes around even quicker than the last. One minute you’re drinking aperol spritz in a pub garden and then suddenly it’s time to start Christmas shopping again.
There is a lot of option out there when it comes to gift buying, and although I'm definitely not complaining, the neverending choice can be a bit paralysing. That’s why we’ve searched every corner of the retail landscape and put together a tightly-curated list of the perfect gifts for Christmas 2023:
Anna + Nina - I Love You Mug
Regardless of cupboard space, one can never have too many mugs especially when they are painted with cute and slightly sassy phrases.
Anna + Nina’s homeware used to only be available in Amsterdam until they recently appeared on the Selfridges website. The ‘I love you’ ‘I know’ messaging is funny, cute and perfect for anyone that is homeware obsessed or just loves a creamy cappuccino.
Oliver Bonas - Zebra Pink and Orange Scarf
Oliver Bonas is a present gold mine and it’s hard to go in there without feeling like you need to redo your entire home. Bold statement scarfs are having a moment right now and we’re in love with this heavyweight scarf. The contrasting pink and orange shouldn’t work but it does, plus the big twisted tassels lining the ends. Perfect.
Thomson Carter Gift Set
If there’s one brand that’s going to make someone feel special, its Thomson Carter and when it comes to thoughtful gifts I think this might be up there with my favourite.
The British born fragrance brand have launched a gift set where you can choose any three of the Thomson Carter scents. You could add their best seller Shelby Lane or a more floral bottle of Lilium Blume. The gift set itself is luxurious and premium, complete with a branded tote bag and personalised card. There’s nothing more personal and considered than fragrance and this gift set is really something special.
Plus each set comes with £10 off a full bottle, it’s the gift that keeps on giving.
Earl of East x Damson Madder - The Garden Candle
Sticking with the theme of fragrance, when two iconic brands come together just in time for Christmas it’s definitely worth a mention. The Garden candle is inspired by spiritual awakening and has notes of fig leaf, amber and frankincense giving it a sweet but musky scent. The gorgeous illustrated label and indulgent scent would make a great addition to any coffee table.
Missoula - Heart Charm Necklace
Boyfriends/partners/husbands this one's for you. This exact necklace was seen on the neck of Margot Robbie in the Barbie movie and to be honest, we are obsessed. This gold heart pendant and delicate bobble chain is the perfect gift for a loved one.
As long as you’re not buying it for your office mistress like Alan Rickman in love actually.
There are so many ways to show people you love them at Christmas, but hopefully this list will help with gift inspiration or at least save you from the chaos of Christmas shopping on Oxford Street!
